This project started in 2008 as diploma of Melih Bilgil.

On December 4th in 2008 Melih Bilgil graduated successfully with this project at the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz, Germany

The first PICOL case study “History of the internet” (motiongraphics documentary)
was published on January 4th 2009.

On January 19th, 2009 the first picol were released in the size of 32×32 Pixel in PNG-Format
